HOW IT WORKS
You Prepare the Documents. We Handle the Rest.
Getting married in the Philippines should be a memorable occasion, not a complicated process you have to manage on your own.
How Marriage Assistance PH Works
At Marriage Assistance PH, we provide a professionally managed marriage assistance service that brings together wedding preparation, ceremony organisation and post-marriage documentation coordination.
Our purpose is simple: to take the practical burden off your shoulders so that you can concentrate on getting married.
You obtain the initial documents we identify and complete the steps requiring your personal participation. We manage the wedding arrangements and document coordination included in your agreed package.
Whether you live in the Philippines or are travelling from overseas, our team provides a clear point of contact throughout the agreed service.
Before work begins, we confirm your selected package, its scope, price and payment arrangements in writing.
From there, our service follows six clear stages.
FROM PREPARATION TO DELIVERY
Our Six-Step Marriage Assistance Process
Step 1 — We Tell You Which Documents to Prepare
Every couple's circumstances are different, and so are their marriage preparation requirements.
Your nationality, marital history, residence and other personal circumstances may affect the documents needed before you can legally marry in the Philippines.
Our team reviews the information you provide and gives you a document checklist tailored to your situation.
We explain what you need to prepare, help you understand the applicable requirements and identify matters that need confirmation with the relevant authorities.
Your responsibility: Obtain the initial documents, provide accurate information and complete any personal applications or declarations required by law.
Our responsibility: Identify and explain the required preparation, guide you through the agreed process and coordinate the subsequent arrangements.
Foreign nationals may need documentation from their embassy or consulate before applying for a marriage licence, including evidence of legal capacity to marry where required. These pre-marriage requirements are addressed at this stage, not left until after the ceremony.
You prepare the requested documents. We guide the preparation and organise the agreed next steps.
Step 2 — We Coordinate Your Wedding Date
Once the necessary documents and applicable legal requirements have been addressed, we coordinate your proposed wedding date with an appropriately authorised solemnising officer.
Our team handles the agreed scheduling, communication and practical arrangements.
We keep you informed of the intended date, ceremony location and any attendance requirements.
Where a marriage licence is required, we coordinate the agreed preparations involving the competent Local Civil Registrar. Any exemption from the marriage-licence requirement must be established under applicable Philippine law.
The final wedding date remains subject to the applicable legal conditions, completion of necessary formalities and the availability of the authorised officer.
You do not need to organise the ceremony appointment independently when this coordination forms part of your package.
Step 3 — We Organise and Oversee Your Wedding
This is one of the most important elements of our service.
Marriage Assistance PH takes responsibility for organising, coordinating and overseeing the wedding arrangements included in your chosen package.
Our team manages the practical preparations and communicates with the relevant parties to ensure that the agreed elements are brought together.
Depending on your service, this may include the ceremony location, coordination with the authorised solemnising officer, venue preparation, suppliers, transport, guests, reception arrangements and other agreed services.
On the wedding day, we oversee the organisation so you can focus on your marriage rather than managing the event.
We organise and supervise the arrangements. You attend, personally give your consent and sign the necessary marriage documents.
Under the ordinary Philippine marriage requirements, the couple must appear personally before the authorised solemnising officer and make their declaration in the presence of at least two witnesses of legal age.
Marriage Assistance PH coordinates the wedding organisation; the legal solemnisation remains the responsibility of the authorised officer.
Step 4 — We Coordinate Your Post-Marriage Documentation
Our work continues after the wedding ceremony.
Once your marriage has taken place, our team coordinates the post-marriage documentation services included in your agreement.
This may involve communicating with the relevant parties, following up on registration status, preparing document requests and arranging collection or delivery through permitted official channels.
The solemnising officer is responsible for reporting the marriage to the appropriate civil registrar. Our team coordinates the agreed follow-up without replacing that legal responsibility.
Official marriage registration and the issuance of records remain the responsibilities of the Local Civil Registrar, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and other competent authorities, as applicable.
Where an official document request requires identification, authorisation or personal action, we explain the relevant requirements.
We act on your behalf only where the receiving authority permits it.
Our role is to manage the agreed coordination and minimise unnecessary administrative work for you, while respecting the procedures established by the relevant institutions.
Step 5 — We Arrange Delivery of Your Marriage Documents
We do not consider our agreed post-marriage coordination complete simply because the ceremony has ended.
Our team follows through on the documents covered by your selected package and arranges their delivery once they have been issued or obtained through the appropriate channels.
Your written agreement identifies the documents included in your package, whether a PSA-issued marriage certificate is included, and how the relevant documents will be delivered.
A locally registered marriage record and a PSA-issued marriage certificate can have different processing and availability stages. Any additional authentication, apostille or translation services are included only where expressly agreed.
When the covered documents are ready, we organise the agreed handover and explain what you have received.
You should not have to manage every document follow-up yourself when that coordination is part of the service you purchased.
Step 6 — We Explain Your Embassy or Consular Next Steps
For international couples, the process may continue after the Philippine marriage documentation has been completed.
Depending on your nationality and country of residence, you may need to report your marriage to an embassy or consulate, arrange recognition or registration abroad, or present supporting documents for another application.
Our team explains the relevant next steps and directs you towards the appropriate official requirements.
Where necessary, we clarify the difference between an apostille, document authentication and a translation. These are separate procedures, and not every country or document requires all of them.
Some embassy or consular procedures may require you to attend personally, make a declaration, sign an application or submit documents directly.
Those legally required personal actions remain your responsibility.
We help you understand what to do next, so you are not left without guidance after receiving your marriage documents.
YOUR ROLE AND OUR ROLE
What Do You Actually Need to Do?
Our service is designed to make your responsibilities as straightforward as possible.
You provide the necessary initial documents and accurate information. You attend appointments that require your personal presence, participate in your marriage ceremony and sign where legally required.
For any embassy or consular procedure that must be completed personally, we explain the steps you need to take.
Meanwhile, our team manages the organisation and document coordination included in your package — from scheduling and wedding-day arrangements to post-marriage follow-up and delivery.
The purpose of Marriage Assistance PH is not to replace your legal responsibilities. It is to remove as much of the surrounding practical work as your agreed service allows.
ONE CLEAR POINT OF CONTACT
A Managed Service From Preparation to Delivery
Working with Marriage Assistance PH means having a dedicated point of contact for the agreed stages of your marriage arrangements.
Rather than contacting every relevant party, arranging every detail and following up on every document yourself, you have a team coordinating the work covered by your service.
We take responsibility for the organisation we agree to provide, communicate about matters requiring your attention and help you understand the next steps.
The service is designed to be especially practical for couples arranging their marriage from overseas, as well as those who simply prefer professional assistance in the Philippines.
