1.2 Definitions
Service Package: The marriage assistance, wedding arrangements and other services included in an accepted booking.
Booking Confirmation: The written record confirming the accepted package, price, service scope, commencement arrangements and other material contractual details.
Service Commencement Date: The actual date on which we first perform an activity under the accepted service booking. This may include contracted case assessment, document review, preparation guidance, scheduling or other agreed professional work.
Guarantee Periods: The 15-calendar-day ceremony guarantee and the 25-working-day documentation completion guarantee, both commencing on the same Service Commencement Date.
Covered Documentation: The specific marriage documents identified in the agreed documentation schedule as falling within the 25-working-day completion guarantee.
Documentation Schedule: The agreed written list specifying each covered document, the issuing authority, required form, number of copies, completion requirements and applicable delivery arrangements.
Working Day: A day counted according to the working-day definition, holiday calendar and time-zone rules disclosed and agreed before the client becomes contractually bound.
Official Authority: A competent government institution, civil registrar, court, embassy, consulate, authorised solemnising officer or other body exercising statutory authority.
1.3 Applicable Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory laws and consumer protections applicable to a particular contract.
Philippine law governs marriage eligibility, solemnisation, civil registration and other official marriage procedures performed in the Philippines.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot legally be removed.
2. Bookings, Contract Formation and Service Scope
2.1 Initial Enquiries
Making an enquiry, receiving general information or requesting a quotation does not automatically establish a binding service contract.
An initial enquiry also does not start either guarantee period.
2.2 Booking Acceptance
Before accepting a booking, we will explain the selected package, its principal services, price, material exclusions and relevant conditions.
A booking becomes contractually binding when accepted and confirmed in writing, subject to applicable law.
The Booking Confirmation and any agreed service schedules form part of the contract.
2.3 Essential Pre-Contract Information
Before the client becomes bound by the booking, the relevant documents must identify:
- The package purchased and services included.
- The total price, currency and payment arrangements.
- Any compulsory additional charges or how they are calculated.
- The responsibilities of the client and our company.
- The circumstances in which contracted work will commence.
- The method used to calculate the two guarantee periods.
- The applicable working-day calendar, public holidays, time zone and deadline convention.
- The Covered Documentation and its completion criteria.
- The delivery method, destination and applicable delivery timetable.
- The cancellation rights and procedures applicable to the booking.
- Any additional terms required for regulated travel services, where applicable.
The actual Service Commencement Date and resulting deadlines will be recorded and confirmed when contracted work begins.
2.4 Consistency of Contractual Information
These Terms, the Booking Confirmation and all package descriptions must be consistent with our two guarantees and their common Service Commencement Date.
Every package includes the same 15-calendar-day ceremony guarantee and 25-working-day documentation completion guarantee.
No package description may imply that these guarantees belong exclusively to High End or another premium package.
Specific, properly agreed service details determine the scope of the purchased package. Mandatory legal rights and binding pre-contract information remain enforceable.
3. Our Services
Marriage Assistance PH provides private marriage consultancy, wedding organisation and documentation coordination services in the Philippines.
Depending on the selected package, these services include:
- Reviewing the information provided about the intended marriage.
- Providing a list of initial documents for the client to prepare.
- Explaining relevant marriage preparation requirements.
- Coordinating the wedding date with an authorised solemnising officer.
- Organising and overseeing the agreed wedding arrangements.
- Coordinating relevant venues, suppliers and service providers.
- Managing post-marriage documentation requests and follow-up.
- Arranging lawful collection and delivery of the specified records.
- Explaining relevant embassy or consular next steps.
3.1 Managed Wedding Organisation
We undertake to organise and supervise the arrangements covered by the purchased package.
Our responsibilities are not limited to providing information. They include the professional coordination and practical work expressly agreed with the client.
3.2 Package Inclusions and Exclusions
The Booking Confirmation identifies the services included in the purchased package.
Additional services are not automatically included merely because they are connected to the marriage.
If additional services or expenses are proposed, we will explain the costs and obtain the necessary agreement before proceeding.
3.3 Personnel and Service Providers
We may use employees, authorised representatives, contractors and third-party service providers to deliver contracted services.
The use of third parties does not automatically remove responsibilities that legally or contractually remain with us.
4. Service Commencement and Our Guarantees
4.1 One Common Service Commencement Date
Both of our contractual guarantees begin on the same date: the date Marriage Assistance PH actually starts performing the agreed service.
This date is called the Service Commencement Date.
The first activity performed under an accepted booking may constitute service commencement, including contracted assessment, document review, checklist preparation, scheduling or another agreed professional activity.
The Service Commencement Date is not automatically the date of an initial enquiry, quotation, booking request or payment.
The written commencement confirmation records the true date on which contracted work began. It does not postpone the start of either guarantee.
Both guarantees run from that same date. The documentation guarantee does not restart after the wedding ceremony.
4.2 Written Evidence of Commencement
We will keep proportionate, contemporaneous records showing when contracted services began.
These may include written instructions, commencement notifications and records of the first professional activity performed.
We will confirm the Service Commencement Date and the two guarantee deadlines to the client in writing.
The commencement date must not be retrospectively changed merely to extend a deadline.
4.3 Marriage Ceremony Guarantee — 15 Calendar Days
Every Marriage Assistance PH service package includes our contractual guarantee of a marriage ceremony within 15 calendar days from the Service Commencement Date.
This guarantee applies to Basic, High End and every other package without exception.
We undertake to coordinate the contracted preparations, authorised solemnising officer and wedding arrangements necessary to meet this commitment.
The guarantee must be performed in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
4.4 Marriage Documentation Guarantee — 25 Working Days
Every Marriage Assistance PH service package includes our contractual guarantee of completion of the Covered Documentation within 25 working days from the same Service Commencement Date.
The guarantee applies to all packages, not only premium services.
The 25-working-day period begins when the contracted service first begins, even though the wedding ceremony will take place later.
The documentation guarantee does not receive a new 25-working-day period after the wedding.
4.5 Counting the Guarantee Periods
The ceremony guarantee is measured in calendar days.
The documentation guarantee is measured in working days.
Before the client becomes bound by the contract, we will disclose the applicable:
- Commencement-day counting convention.
- Time zone.
- Working days and weekend treatment.
- Public-holiday calendar.
- Deadline date and time calculation.
The Booking Confirmation will record the exact resulting deadline for each guarantee once the Service Commencement Date is established.
We will not rely on an undisclosed day-counting method to reduce or extend an agreed guarantee.
4.6 Covered Documentation and Completion Criteria
Before booking acceptance, the Documentation Schedule must identify each document covered by the 25-working-day guarantee.
For each item, the schedule must state:
- Its official name.
- The relevant issuing authority.
- The required form, format and number of copies.
- Whether the document is locally issued or PSA-issued.
- Whether apostille, authentication or translation is included.
- The event that constitutes completion of that document.
- The applicable collection or delivery arrangements.
Submitting an application, making an enquiry or completing our internal coordination does not by itself constitute completion of an official document.
The agreed completion standard must be satisfied for each Covered Documentation item.
4.7 Completion and Physical Delivery
The documentation completion guarantee and the delivery obligation must be distinguished.
The Documentation Schedule will identify when the covered documents must be completed and when and how they must be delivered.
Where the binding service agreement includes delivery within a guaranteed period, that commitment remains enforceable.
We will not describe an incomplete record as completed merely because an official request has been submitted.
4.8 Official Procedures and Legal Requirements
Our guarantees are contractual commitments made by Marriage Assistance PH.
They do not constitute promises by government authorities or permit any party to disregard Philippine marriage law.
The legal requirements applicable to a particular marriage remain mandatory, including relevant marriage-licence procedures, statutory publication periods, eligibility rules and personal attendance requirements.
The involvement of an Official Authority does not, by itself, automatically cancel or indefinitely extend either contractual guarantee.
4.9 Difficulties, Delays and Changes
If circumstances threaten a deadline, we will inform the client and explain the relevant facts and available lawful options.
Where appropriate, we may propose alternative arrangements or an agreed contractual variation.
A client-caused difficulty, third-party delay or suspension of affected work does not automatically stop either guarantee period.
Any change to a guaranteed deadline must follow the applicable contract, the relevant law and any legally required agreement.
No new exemption or extension may be imposed retrospectively.
4.10 Failure to Meet a Guarantee
If a guaranteed deadline is missed without a lawful agreed variation, the failure will be assessed as a failure to meet the relevant contractual commitment.
Any expressly agreed contractual guarantee remedy will apply alongside the client's mandatory legal remedies.
We will review the relevant records, explain the outcome and address any obligations arising under the agreement and applicable law.
The contractual guarantee is not extinguished merely because a government or third-party process formed part of the overall service.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 Accurate and Complete Information
Clients must provide truthful information concerning identity, nationality, age, residence, marital history and other circumstances relevant to the intended marriage.
Any material change must be communicated promptly.
5.2 Initial Document Preparation
The client is responsible for obtaining and preparing the initial documents identified in our checklist.
Marriage Assistance PH explains the requirements and guides the preparation process.
We do not assume responsibility for personally issued documents or applications that must legally be obtained or completed by the client.
5.3 Legal Capacity to Marry
Clients must disclose previous marriages and any legal restrictions affecting eligibility.
Knowingly false statements, concealment of a relevant previous marriage or fraudulent documents may seriously affect the contracted services.
Official determinations of eligibility remain with the competent authorities.
5.4 Required Personal Participation
Clients must attend appointments and ceremonies, give consent, make declarations and sign documents wherever the law requires their personal participation.
Our consultancy services cannot replace these legal responsibilities.
5.5 Cooperation
Clients must respond reasonably to requests for essential information and comply with lawful requirements necessary for the agreed services.
Where material information is missing or inaccurate, we may request clarification or corrective action.
5.6 Fraudulent or Unlawful Requests
We may refuse, suspend or terminate affected work where there is a legitimate reason, such as knowingly fraudulent documentation, a serious contractual breach or a request for unlawful services.
Any resulting payment or refund consequences must have a lawful contractual basis.
No such circumstance automatically removes every consumer right.
6. Our Responsibilities and Professional Standards
We will perform our contracted services with reasonable care and skill.
Within the purchased package, our obligations include the agreed preparation guidance, wedding-date coordination, wedding organisation, practical supervision, documentation coordination and delivery.
6.1 Wedding Organisation
Our team will coordinate the relevant parties and oversee the practical wedding arrangements included in the contract.
The authorised solemnising officer remains responsible for legally performing the marriage ceremony.
6.2 Communications
We will communicate material information concerning the service, including matters requiring client action and changes that may affect agreed arrangements.
6.3 Evidence of Services and Expenses
We will keep proportionate records of contracted work performed and authorised expenses to support any charge or deduction we seek to retain.
These records may include the date of work, nature of the activity, instructions received, third-party commitments and relevant payment information.
We will process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
6.4 Third-Party Coordination
We may engage suitable service providers and coordinate their work within the agreed package.
We remain responsible for duties that legally and contractually belong to us.
7. Philippine Marriage Law and Official Authorities
Marriage eligibility, solemnisation and official registration in the Philippines are governed by applicable Philippine law.
7.1 Competent Authorities
Marriage Assistance PH is not a government agency, court, civil registry office, embassy or consulate.
We do not independently issue marriage licences, determine eligibility, legally solemnise marriages or issue official government records.
7.2 Mandatory Marriage Requirements
The legal requirements applicable to the particular marriage remain mandatory.
These may include marriage licences, statutory notices, lawful exemptions, documents establishing legal capacity, authorised solemnising officers, witnesses and personal declarations.
Our guarantees do not waive these requirements.
7.3 Legal Advice
Complex legal questions, including recognition of a foreign divorce, may require advice from an appropriately qualified legal professional.
Our coordination services do not constitute formal legal representation unless such a service is separately agreed and lawfully provided.
7.4 Consular and Immigration Matters
We may explain relevant embassy or consular steps.
We do not control visa decisions, immigration permissions, embassy acceptance or overseas recognition of a marriage.
8. Post-Marriage Documentation and Delivery
8.1 Continuing Responsibility After the Ceremony
Our responsibilities continue after the wedding through completion of the Covered Documentation and fulfilment of the delivery obligations stated in the booking.
The wedding ceremony alone does not conclude our contracted documentation responsibilities.
8.2 Marriage Registration
The authorised solemnising officer and relevant civil registration institutions retain the statutory duties assigned to them by Philippine law.
We coordinate the contracted follow-up without replacing those responsibilities.
8.3 Official Document Requests
Where an authority requires personal identification, formal authorisation or personal attendance, those requirements must be satisfied.
We may coordinate official document requests and collection only through channels permitted by the relevant authority.
We will act on the client's behalf only where legally allowed.
8.4 Completion Standard
A locally registered marriage record, PSA-issued marriage certificate, authenticated document, apostille and translation may involve different requirements.
The Documentation Schedule must identify the completion standard for every covered item.
A request for a document is not equivalent to its actual issuance or completion.
8.5 Delivery and Handover
We will arrange delivery of the documents included in the contract according to the agreed method and timetable.
The delivery obligations must be clear about the destination, method, applicable charges and completion of handover.
8.6 Missing or Incorrect Documents
Clients should notify us within a reasonable time if a delivered document appears missing, damaged or inconsistent with the agreed requirements.
We will investigate matters for which we are responsible.
A delay in notifying us does not automatically remove mandatory legal rights.
9. Service Fees, Payments and Charges
9.1 Package Price
The total agreed package price, currency, payment schedule and applicable taxes will be disclosed before the client becomes contractually bound.
9.2 Professional Service Value
Our fees compensate us for the professional work undertaken.
Such work may include case assessment, document review, checklist preparation, enquiries, scheduling, planning, supplier communication and local coordination.
Professional work may therefore be performed and have economic value before the wedding ceremony takes place.
9.3 Mandatory and Additional Charges
Mandatory charges will be included in the agreed total price or, where they cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, their calculation basis will be disclosed before booking.
Additional optional charges require the client's express agreement.
We will not impose unexpected optional costs without the necessary contractual basis.
9.4 Third-Party Expenses
Official fees, venues, suppliers, transport and other third-party costs may be included or excluded according to the purchased package.
Any agreed additional expenses will be identified in writing.
9.5 Payment Obligations
Clients must pay the amounts properly due under the agreed payment schedule.
Where a payment is overdue, we may request payment and, where lawful and proportionate, suspend affected work after appropriate notice.
Suspension of work does not, by itself, suspend either guarantee or change an agreed deadline.
9.6 Payment Is Not Automatic Service Commencement
Payment and service commencement are separate events.
The Service Commencement Date is the actual date on which contracted work begins.
Both guarantees start on that date, regardless of whether the booking or payment occurred earlier.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, any early service commencement must comply with the required request and notification rules.
10. Cancellation, Refunds and Early Commencement
10.1 Cancellation Requests
Clients may request cancellation or withdrawal from a service.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, a clear statement of the decision to cancel is sufficient; use of a particular form is not compulsory.
We may request booking details to identify and process the cancellation.
10.2 Before Service Commencement
Where contracted work has not yet begun, any cancellation charge or deduction must have a lawful contractual basis.
Payment alone is not proof that the service has started.
10.3 After Service Commencement
Our work may begin with professional assessment, review, scheduling, planning or other contracted activities.
If a client later changes their mind, fees properly attributable to work actually performed may remain payable to the extent permitted by law.
The beginning of the service does not automatically make the entire prepaid package price non-refundable.
The amount that may lawfully be retained depends on the contract, applicable cancellation rules and the work actually provided.
10.4 Third-Party Costs
Authorised, genuine and non-recoverable third-party costs may be considered where the applicable law and contract permit.
Any retained amount must have a lawful basis, be supported by actual work or costs and avoid counting the same service or expense twice.
We will not automatically retain avoidable, recoverable or unagreed expenses.
10.5 Statutory 14-Day Cancellation Right
Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply and no relevant statutory exception applies, an eligible distance or off-premises consumer service contract generally carries a 14-day cancellation period.
For such a service contract, the period generally ends 14 days after the day on which the contract was entered into.
Before the client is bound, we will provide the applicable cancellation information and model cancellation form.
Any legally required contract confirmation and cancellation information will be supplied in the appropriate durable form.
10.6 Express Request for Early Commencement
Where the client wishes us to begin work during an applicable statutory cancellation period, we will obtain the legally required express request.
Where the law requires the request on a durable medium, we will obtain it in that form before commencing work.
A general acceptance of these Terms will not, by itself, be treated as a waiver of cancellation rights.
Any charge following a statutory cancellation must comply with the applicable information, request and proportionality requirements.
10.7 Full Performance and Cancellation Rights
Where legally applicable, the statutory cancellation right may cease following full performance of the service only if the relevant statutory conditions have been satisfied.
These include any necessary advance request and acknowledgement of the consequences of full performance.
Merely beginning work does not automatically end the cancellation right.
10.8 Cancellation Following Our Breach
Nothing in these Terms removes a client's lawful rights where we fail to provide a contracted service properly or fail to meet a binding contractual commitment.
Applicable remedies may include repeat performance, a price reduction, a refund or another remedy available under the relevant law.
10.9 Refund Calculation
Where a refund is due, we will calculate it by reference to the applicable legal rules, the contractual services actually performed and any lawful deductions.
We will explain the calculation and avoid duplicate charges.
10.10 Statutory Refund Times
Where a refund is due following cancellation under the applicable Consumer Contracts Regulations, reimbursement will be made without undue delay and within 14 days after we are informed of the cancellation, subject to the applicable statutory provisions.
The original payment method will be used unless the client expressly agrees otherwise.
No refund fee will be charged where prohibited by law.
Other refund entitlements will be processed within their applicable legal timeframes.
10.11 Different Legal Regimes
Certain bookings may fall under special rules, including regulated package travel arrangements or specific statutory exceptions.
The applicable rules will be determined by the actual services and contracting structure.
We will not assume that every wedding-related service is automatically excluded from the ordinary consumer cancellation rules.
10.12 Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our separate Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy provides further information concerning the applicable payment and cancellation procedures.
It must remain consistent with these Terms and mandatory legal rights.
11. Changes, Postponements and Suspension
11.1 Client-Requested Changes
Clients may request changes to dates, locations, services or other arrangements.
We will assess the request and explain any additional costs or changes to the agreed scope.
Any legally required agreement will be obtained before making a contractual variation.
11.2 Client-Caused Difficulties
Incorrect information, missing documents, failure to attend a mandatory appointment or another material failure to cooperate may prevent part of the agreed work from proceeding.
We may request corrective action and take lawful, proportionate steps concerning the affected work.
11.3 Effect on Guarantees
Suspension of affected work does not, by itself, stop either Guarantee Period or change a contractual deadline.
Any effect on the guarantees must follow the existing lawful contract terms or a lawful agreed variation.
We do not reserve a general right to extend deadlines whenever a difficulty occurs.
11.4 Termination for Legitimate Reasons
We may suspend or terminate affected services for legitimate reasons, including serious contractual breach, fraudulent documentation, unlawful instructions or a genuine legal prohibition.
Where appropriate, reasonable notice and an opportunity to address the issue will be provided.
Any charges or refunds will be assessed according to the services performed, responsibility for termination and applicable law.
11.5 Written Variations
Material contractual changes, especially those affecting price, scope or guaranteed deadlines, will be documented in writing.
An existing guarantee cannot be unilaterally replaced with a less favourable commitment merely because a new date is convenient.
12. Liability and Consumer Rights
12.1 Standard of Care
We are responsible for providing our contracted services with reasonable care and skill.
12.2 Independent Official Decisions
We do not control decisions made by civil registrars, courts, embassies, consulates, immigration authorities or other public institutions.
This does not remove liability for our own breach of contract, negligence or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
12.3 Client Information
We are not responsible for a loss caused solely by materially inaccurate information or independent conduct of the client outside our contractual responsibilities, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
12.4 Third-Party Services
Using independent service providers does not automatically exclude duties or liabilities that legally remain with us.
12.5 Liability That Cannot Be Excluded
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Mandatory consumer rights and remedies.
- Liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding.
- Any other non-excludable statutory obligation.
12.6 Fair Contractual Limits
Any limitation of liability must be lawful, fair and transparent.
We do not seek to impose an arbitrary liability cap that would remove mandatory consumer remedies.
13. Extraordinary Events Beyond Reasonable Control
An event beyond reasonable control may include a serious natural disaster, extraordinary emergency or legal restriction that materially prevents performance.
Where such an event affects the contracted services, we will notify the client within a reasonable time and explain the consequences.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise avoidable disruption and consider lawful alternatives.
An extraordinary event does not automatically terminate every guarantee, excuse all performance or permit retention of the entire contract price.
Its effect depends on the circumstances, the agreed terms and applicable law.
14. Travel, Accommodation and Additional Services
14.1 Scope of Additional Services
Some packages may include or offer accommodation, transport, flights, honeymoon arrangements or other travel-related services.
The Booking Confirmation must identify which services are included, which are optional and which are arranged independently.
14.2 Regulated Package Travel
Where a booking qualifies as a regulated package under applicable package travel legislation, the relevant pre-contract information, booking conditions, cancellation rules and statutory protections will apply.
The responsible organiser and any legally required financial protection must be identified accurately before the client becomes bound.
14.3 Flights and ATOL
Where flight-inclusive arrangements fall within applicable ATOL requirements, the relevant licensing or lawful exemption arrangements must be satisfied.
We do not claim to hold an ATOL licence or provide ATOL protection unless that is factually correct.
14.4 Supplier Relationships
Whether we act as organiser, retailer, disclosed agent or another legally recognised party depends on the actual contracting arrangements and applicable law.
Describing a service as coordination does not automatically remove duties imposed on a regulated package organiser.
14.5 Applicable Travel Cancellation Rules
Where mandatory package travel cancellation provisions apply, those rules govern the affected arrangement.
General consultancy cancellation clauses will not be used to override a different mandatory legal regime.
14.6 Travel and Immigration Requirements
Clients remain responsible for personal passports, travel eligibility and immigration requirements unless an additional contractual obligation has expressly been undertaken by us.
We do not guarantee immigration or visa decisions.
15. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original website content, branding, graphics and business materials belong to Nexus Solutions Global Ltd. or are used with appropriate permission.
Visitors may use the website for lawful personal information purposes.
Unauthorised commercial reproduction or misleading use of our business identity is prohibited, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
General website information does not replace an assessment of an individual's marriage requirements.
16. Privacy, Personal Data and Communications
16.1 Personal Information
Marriage assistance may require information concerning identity, nationality, marital history and supporting records.
We will process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law and our Privacy Policy.
16.2 Sensitive Documents
Clients should not send passport scans, financial records or other sensitive documents through an ordinary initial enquiry unless an appropriate submission channel has been provided.
16.3 Important Communications
We may communicate through the contact details supplied by the client and authorised communication channels.
Service commencement confirmations, important contractual changes and guaranteed deadlines will be recorded in a durable written form where required.
16.4 Website Enquiry Forms
Website enquiry forms are currently unavailable while their email delivery integration is suspended.
Clients may use the published telephone, WhatsApp and email contact details.
A form submission will not be represented as successful unless it has actually been transmitted.
17. Complaints, Disputes and Governing Law
17.1 Complaints
Clients may contact us concerning service delivery, documentation, payment or a guaranteed deadline.
Providing booking details will help us identify and review the matter.
17.2 Review and Resolution
We will consider the relevant evidence, contractual duties and legal rights and respond within a reasonable time.
Using our internal complaints process does not remove the client's right to seek a legal remedy.
17.3 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory legal rules applicable to the particular contract.
Philippine law remains applicable to marriage eligibility, solemnisation, registration and related official procedures.
17.4 Jurisdiction
Subject to applicable mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules, disputes may be brought before the competent courts of England and Wales.
Nothing in this clause removes access to a court or mandatory legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
